The results might have been different if I had measured support for war against a particular population that is perceived as threatening, versus support for war in the abstract.  That&#039;s an easy hypothesis to test experimentally. If you&#039;re a psychologist reading this and want to write up that study, I&#039;d happily run it for you...:)</description>
